I’m Meg

"Storytelling is not what I do for a living - it is how I do all that I do while I am living."

I wish my name was Loui... but alas I am just Meg! Loui comes from my middle name, Louise, which is dedicated after my Grandmother’s sister.

When thinking long and hard about what I wanted to name this business, I thought nothing was more fitting than a family name. Photography at it’s core is documenting memories - those memories of family are something that we will hold dear for generations, which is why I am so invested in this art.

A crazy run on sentence about me: since I was a kid I wanted to make people laugh, I will kick your butt in tennis, my husband and i eloped in Vegas, I am always searching for an amazing dumpling, I would cash out my 401k for a Beyonce pit seat, I can’t put my camera down when traveling, I have four pets who are equally the loves of my life and banes of my existence, I am ride or die for my city (Minneapolis), and I love to sneak Chipotle into the movie theater to live my best life as an AMC a-lister.
